We dropped off our snow blower due to not starting and leaking oil. We were told three weeks out (December) snow on the ground and in the forecast, was bummed but very understandable even called around and everyone was booked out. We got a call four days later that the seal needed replaced and carburetor needed cleaned and adjusted and was ready for pick up! Every time we have done business with this wonderful shop they have always taken care of my wife and I and delivered a great experience and going above and beyond. No other small engine repair is more honest, and trustworthy than these guys. Being small business owners in the community as well these guys get our business every time, keep being awesome guys!!
Brought in a 4 cycle Craftsman Weed Wacker that would die after it warmed up. Wouldn't start again until cold. A new carburetor was needed and the cost to put it all back together was getting close to a new machine. They suggested I consider an Echo. After comparing the brand and reviews online, I decided to get a combo trimmer and edger from Echo. Their price was the same as a big box store in town. Decision was easy to purchase the new unit here as you get the same manufacturer's warranty and a local business with expertise to service it. They even took everything out of the box and set it up and had it ready for me.
So I borrowed my neighbor's chainsaw, and while cutting it decided to return to its original state and unscrew itself. The starter cover fell off and a screw was lost. I went to American Mower, and the staff was very friendly; they actually had a screw in stock for the 20+ year old Husqvarna!
I am new to the area and was looking for a good small engine repair shop. A gent that works at the North 40 referred me to you for chainsaw repair. I brought my Husky chainsaw in because it would not start. I was VERY impressed with the service performed! Not only was it ready earlier than the original time frame I was given, the price was VERY FAIR! I will recommend to anyone! Thanks for the quality of service!
We have bought 3 Echo chainsaws here in the last year. Top quality saws. All the guys have been very helpful. I will never buy anywhere else. Echo is the way to go and American Mower and Saw is the place to do your business.

My dad is in town to fix my weedeater, and we are trying to locate parts. We called American Mower & Saw and talked with Taylor. While he didn't have what I needed in stock, he was super nice and helpful. He even gave me other places that could possibly have it, or he could order it. Very helpful, had the part I was looking for in stock. I wish I could comment on the posts below: 10% ethanol in your carb is the worst thing you could do, ethanol reacts with aluminum, it builds crystals that clog your jets. If you use gas with ethanol (which I don't), the manufacturer recommendation is to use gas less than a month old. I've only used this business once, but I'm sure they are good folks, and knowledgeable. I will be there tomorrow looking for a bearing actually.
Highly recommended! Brought a saw there, very fair price. I bent a chainsaw bar pretty bad and they fixed and resurfaced it for no charge! If you need a new piece of equipment or your equipment serviced, this is the place to go.
I have an old Snapper lawn mower with a worn out lawn cutting blade. American Mower & Saw had a blade in stock at a great price. Great customer service and very helpful. Forget the big box orange or blue home improvement stores. Support the local home store with quality service.
Great place. Fast and friendly service. Knowledgeable about the products they sell. Competitive pricing and they do the online warranty registration for you. They took a several year old Echo trimmer and did a tune up and it works better than new. They will continue to get my business as long as they continue to operate like this.
It was a good experience. I called and spoke with a gentleman inquiring about a new belt for my mower deck. I did some research myself and found the mower's model number and the number of the belt itself. I was placed on hold for a minute, they said they had it. I came to the place and they were very helpful and informative when asked how to get it on.
